Guidance for submission of works for the Oral Communication Session
Submission deadline: August, 30th, 2022
The Oral Communication Session has a broader scope than the Panels of the LaHBE-USP & ISHPSSB 2022 Off-Year Workshop Echoes of Scientific Thought in Society: The Late 19th Century - Early 20th Century "Race Science" in Argentina and Brazil.
The oral session welcomes work on the “racial sciences” from any place and time and their manifestations in the various social spaces of culture and science (history, philosophy, and sociology of science; scientific education; literature; cinema; arts).
The Oral Communication Session accepts original research works not yet presented at conferences or published in print or digital format. The session also receives works with the results of theses and dissertations, as they are not publications per se.
The Oral Communication Session will be trilingual (English, Portuguese or Spanish).
Graduate students are especially welcome.
For submission, send a Word file (.doc or .docx) in the language you wish to present the work (English, Portuguese or Spanish) using Font EB Garamond, size 12, single space, and left alignments, with:

· author(s) affiliation(s) - in the case of graduate students, indicate if Master’s or Ph.D., the supervisor's name, and institution;
